Once every year, for ~3 weeks, Edinburgh is home to Europe’s largest arts festival, the Fringe. Comprised of comedians, drag queens, variety acts, circus acts, dance, theatre, food trucks, musicals, exhibitions, and a host of other performances, Edinburgh’s population tends to swell up to 3x to 4x in size over the duration of the festival with visitors from across the world.
